Thinking like the universe….

Afghanistan has been a great experience for me, again the life was so intense that since I’ve been in Italy from yesterday everything it’s so dilated, expanse, open like the universe. The contrast in Kabul between war administrators and peaceful people made me think a lot. Life never go in the sense that we think sometimes, Afghanistan for me has been dropped from the sky, I didn’t thought to go, it wasn’t in my plan. The question was: do I have to accept to guide a person in a Muslim country like Afghanistan? Is it in my own path? Is it in my personal research?
The answer was yes, that’s happened to me and I have to follow it. Despite all the people that told me that I will die in a mine or I will be kidnapped by the Taliban’s: “I’m alive and kicking”.
“Hallah Hu” can be the music synthesis of my trip. Getting more close to Sufism, getting more close to myself as well. All the Khanaqah’s are part of my places, a shelter where to go out of the war craziness, dangerous as n ° 93 buses in Milan at night, really like the same. Where people doesn’t have any more the value of life, they are so disconnected from the universe, they don’t know who they are, they are just desperate people that don’t know where to go toward in life, they haven’t got a final destination, a final peace within.
My friends have been crossing Nuristan and where almost killed by the Taliban’s. Taliban’s took all their belonging and they safe their life because of an afghan friend, Alisha, that start to explain them that the Quran says that, instead of kill, you can convert these western infidels… and finally they left them walking to the cold mountain in the night, sleeping at -2° without any sleeping bags, but with the skins intact.
So life could value as a goat, you can kill me as a sheep and make the best kebab you could eat in your life, but you will not find my soul, because you don’t know what soul is and what you really are.
Those people don’t know any Muslim culture; they are just like animals with a Kalashnikov in their hands, except that most of the animals don’t kill without a purpose.
So life can end in the time of a blossoming flower, you open like a magnolia, you give all your perfume to the world, and then you fly, like a bird in the sky.
You can have light upon light in yourself, but we can die in a second, just take the bus 93 in Milan Saturday night. There will be a desperate guy with his mind croaking like a suffering frog and then you, just a meter from him, close to his confusion, and he will jump on you, because you will be a transfer of his nightmares. We can die anywhere…there are risky places anywhere, because there are desperate people everywhere…unfortunately.

And then I found poetry of a Taliban…

Martyr friend

He, on the edge of taking leave of life,
On the edge of the path of continuous silence,
He who would win hundreds of breath,
Yes,
At the cost of a free independent life,
The youth who got love’s inspiration from a butterfly,
He slept beside the burning light,
He got burnt, he did business with his head.

Mullah Abdul Wali Halimyar 1998

Peace can only be within, I can tell you wuassalemualikumm, but if I’ll not tell you with my mind in my heart, will be just like saying ciao, without any love.

According to Idries Shah a sufi master and writer, the Sufi pattern of words, action and cooperation requires three thighs:
1-The teacher
2- The learner
3- The community

In this I find it close to the Buddhism three jewels: the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. The Buddha that can be referred as the state of the learner, the highest spiritual potential that exists within all beings, as well as the state of the teacher, the dharma is the teaching, the path of awakening, the path of enlightenment and finally the Sangha which is the community, the community of the learners like the khanaqah. I will not be surprise if there is a lot of connection with Buddhism since the two teaching where living together for many centuries.

Rumi refers to this complex of activity when he says:

Ilm-amozi tariqish qawli ast
Harfa-amozi tariqish fa’li ast
Faqr-amozi az sohbat qaim ast

“Science is learned by words, Art by practice, Detachment by companionship.”

How can peace be developed in Afghanistan if there is not peace in the heart of the people?
How can peace be developed by warmongers?
How can peace be spread, if the heart of those governments employed it’s full of hurts?

Peace pass throughout learning how to learn, learning how to be empty in front of the other, be free of thought and listening the waves of the universe….

Hallah Hu, Hallah Hu, Hallah Hu…. Hallah Hu, Hallah Hu, Hallah Hu….Hallah Hu, Hallah Hu, Halvah Hu

  1. You actually make it seem so easy together with your presentation but I in finding this matter to be really one thing that I think I would never understand.
It kind of feels too complicated and very wide for me.
I’m looking forward on your next put up, I will try to get the dangle
    of it!
